Simon Percival – Director / Operations Manager

Simon started the company in 2018 and a few years later had a vision of a cold planing service

with a difference. He thrives on the challenges this brings and meeting new customers along the

way. Coming from a Farming background he is very awear of time critical projects and works

well under pressure and loves nothing more than a job where he’s told it’s probably not possible

but …...! Simon oversees all operations and deals directly with each customer personally.

Amy Walker - Supervisor

Our newest member of the team who came looking for nothing more than a challenge, Amy

quickly settled into working on sites and covers Banksman shifts or if operating on live sites

where extra Banksman are required. Amy quickly understood the industry and as Supervisor

oversees operations from a Health and Safety aspect. Not only staff safety, but site safety and

full reports are generated from this

Archie Percival – Machine operator

Our youngest member of the team but certainly does not lack experience. He has been

operating machines since before he could reach the pedals and took to planing like a duck to

water as the saying goes. Instantly mastering bobcat planing in all sectors and is now well on his

journey with his training on the large planer. Archie comes with experience in mechanising so is

responsible for our routine maintenance.

Carl Skelton - Banksman

Carl joined the team having not only a change of carrier but a change of country to work in. As

soon as I heard Carl was coming back to the UK there was no hesitation offering him work after

working with his dad for many years. Carl started his journey with SARB as a Banksman which

he excelled in and quickly became trained on the Bobcats. He now splits his time between

Banksman and planer operator and oversees that the vans are well-equipped, ensuring we have

everything we need on site day in and day out.

Scott Norman - Banksman

Scott joined looking for a new challenge which he certainly got, a very private local individual

where on his first day we travelled into Lancashire and covered more miles in one day than he

was used to most months, and a trip through the Tyne Tunnel ended up in panic as he realised,

he didn’t have his passport. Scott joined the team as a Banksman and has simply rose to the

challenge in every way, his attention to detail is second to none and recently has begun his

machine operator training.
